Luz House

The redesigned residence at Boom Beach features significant alterations and additions aimed at improving sun management and enhancing livability. Originally facing west, the house was exposed to the intense afternoon sun, which increased indoor temperatures. The new addition introduces an outdoor terrace and employs wooden slats to provide shade and reduce solar exposure. These slats serve a dual purpose: offering privacy and creating a play of light and shadow that evokes the dappled effect of a tropical canopy. This design not only moderates heat but also imbues the interior with a refreshed, airy ambiance, seamlessly blending with the natural beachfront setting.
